SECTION FOR METHODOLOGY AND EDUCATION

The Section offers methodological guidance to entities participating in the public procurement process through written guidelines and consultations. It provides training, including regional lectures, and organizes conferences and workshops. Additionally, it undertakes initiatives related to socially responsible public procurement, encompassing green, social, and innovative procurement practices. Through a network of regional centers, it serves as the primary point of contact for contracting authorities and contracting entities seeking assistance from the Office. 

The Section is responsible for enhancing the professionalism of public procurement, fostering international cooperation, and overseeing the procurement processes carried out by the Authority. For contracts funded by the Slovakia Programme during the 2021-2027 programming period, it offers guidance to applicants and beneficiaries regarding the specific rules outlined in the Guide to the Process and Control of Public Procurement. This includes the preparation of a draft update for those guidelines.
